Beresheeth Highlights

1st Book: Beresheeth (Genesis)

Bereshith

The original Hebrew name of the first book of Scripture is Beresheeth meaning ‘in the beginning’, or ‘in the first’. The Greek word ‘Genesis’ comes from a word simply implying origins.  This is the first of the five books of Mosheh (Mushah/ Moses) which are collectively referred to as the Torah. This book in particular covers the origins of creation, the fall of man, the great flood, the lives of the patriarchs and more.
