2017 Calendar


Calendar dates are calculated according to the original shamar (hebrew word used to describe ‘look for’, observation) calendar given in the Torah. The Torah calendar uses the sun, moon and stars in combination with the agriculture of the land of Israel (Yisra’el).



Spring Feast Dates:

Preparation day of Passover 14th of Abib (lambs were slain in the afternoon on the 14th of Abib)– sundown April 11 to sundown April 12, 2017

Feast of Unleavened Bread/Passover meal (Passover meal is eaten at sundown, beginning the first day of unleavened bread a High Sabbath) – sundown April 12 to sundown April 13, 2017

Feast of Unleavened Bread (seventh day – High Sabbath) – sundown April 18 to sundown April 19, 2017

Day of First Fruits  – sundown April 15 to sundown April 16, 2017

Shabuot  – sundown June 3 to sundown June 4, 2017


Fall Feast Dates:

Yom Teruah (Day of Trumpets) – sundown September 21 to sundown September 22, 2017

Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) – sundown September 30 to sundown October 1, 2017

Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) – (first day) sundown October 5 to sundown October 6, 2017

Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) – (eighth day) sundown October 12 to sundown October 13, 2017
