The Creator of the universe expressed his Name within the pages of the TaNaKh (so called “old testament”) 6,823 times. Many today call this name the “tetragrammaton” meaning the four lettered word or in Hebrew “arba ottiyot” again meaning four letters. The four letters are Yod, Heh, Waw, Heh. In English this is often represented as YHWH to represent the thought that the four letters are consonants. These four letters are actually semi vowels therefore YHWH does not adequately represent the pronunciation of this most esteemed name. In ancient, paleo Hebrew the name appears 
but in modern Hebrew script the name is written as 
. Some choose not to vocalize this very special name and instead say “Ha’Shem” meaning “The Name”, others may choose to substitute the name with the title Adonai meaning “my master.” However the Hebrew Scriptures clearly state that this name should be vocalized.
Yoel (Joel) 2:32 “And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of shall be delivered. For on Mount Tsiyon and in Yerushalayim there shall be an escape as has said, and among the survivors whom calls!
This famous passage is reiterated in the Brit Chadash (Renewed Covenant) in the book of Acts 2:31 and Romans 10:13. This passage is one of many that reflect that true salvation comes through calling upon the name of YHWH. For reasons too numerous to express here at this time but can be found throughout this website YHWH is vocalized as YaHuWaH. There are 137 names that end in Yahuw in the scriptures. Such names as Jeremiah is actually vocalized as YeremiYAHUW, Isaiah is YashaYAHUW and Elijah is EliYAHUW. Many are very familiar with the Prime Minister of Israel’s name NetanYAHUW. All these names give esteem and honor to the one true name of our Creator. The universal phrase HalleluYah means “praise you Yah” yet today many who say this phrase have absolutely no idea what it means.

Despite the teachings of the majority YaHuWaH emphatically states that he has but ONE name! YaHuWaH reveals that this is his memorial Name!
Shemoth (Exodus) 3:15And Elohim said further to Mosheh, “Thus you are to say to the children of Yisra’el, ‘YaHuWaH Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Yitshaq, and the Elohim of Ya’aqob, has sent me to you. This is My Name forever, and this is My remembrance to all generations.
Melek Dawid (Sovereign David) consistently esteemed the Name of YaHuWaH throughout the Tehillim (Psalms). For instance :
Tehillim (Psalm) 105 Give thanks to YaHuWaH! Call upon His Name, Make known His deedsamong the peoples.2 Sing to Him, sing praise to Him;Speak of all His wonders.3 Make your boast in His set-apart Name;Let the hearts rejoice of those seeking YaHuWaH.

YaHuWaH is so zealous for his great and awesome name that he tells us the following:
Shemoth (Exodus) 34:14 …for you do not bow yourselves to another mighty one, for YaHuWaH, whose Name is jealous, is a jealous El.
YaHuWaH is so territorial for his great name sake that he tells us that he does not leave one unpunished who brings his name to ruin or vanity.
Shemoth (Exodus) 20:7 “You do not bring h the Name of YaHuWaH your Elohim to naught, for YaHuWaH does not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name to naught.
The penalty for misuse of the Name was death by stoning. This is a severe crime against YaHuWaH and he will not and does not tolerate it. Therefore we should understand that The Name, “Ha’Shem” is “Qodesh” meaning special, set-apart and pure.
YashaYAHUW (Isaiah) 45: 23“I have sworn by Myself, a word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, so that to Me every knee shall bow, every tongue swear.
In the book of Romans Shaul who has been called “Paul” repeats the passage found in YashaYAHUW (Isaiah) 45:23.
Romans 14:11 For it has been written, “As I live, says YaHuWaH, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to Elohim.”
However when we look at Phillipians, Shaul seems to contradict this statement. The way the passage is understood in Christianity implies that “Jesus” is somehow The Name Above All Names. The problem lies heavily in the fact that “Jesus” is not and has never been the Name of the Hebrew Messiah. The Name “Jesus” derives from the Latin Iesus which came from the Greek Iesous which stems from the Aramaic Yeshua however the full Hebrew Name of Messiah is
which is spelled Yod, Heh, Waw, Shin, Waw, Ayin and is pronounced Yahuwshuwa (Yahushua). The name of Yahuwshuwa is the same exact name of “Joshua” the son of Nun.

Now let us examine the passage that is in question.
Phillipians 2:9 Elohim, therefore, has highly exalted Him and given Him the Name which is above every name,10 that at the Name of Yahuwshuwa every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11and every tongue should confess that Yahuwshuwa Messiah is Master, to the esteem of Elohim the Father.
YAHUWshuwa means “YaHuWaH delivers” or “YaHuWaH saves.” Therefore when we vocalize the TRUE name of Messiah we are in fact in accordance with the statement “all who call on the Name YaHuWaH shall be saved.” The Messiah clearly stated time and time again, “I have come in my Father’s Name.” His Father is YaHuWaH the Creator of all! So how can Yahuwshuwa, which means YaHuWaH saves be greater than the Name of YaHuWaH? The simple answer is, it can’t be. YaHuWaH is the Name Above All Names! Also notice that the Name Yahuwshuwa, as stated previously, has been a name of other important men in scripture, therefore though the name is important and must be professed it is not entirely unique. The name is only unique in the since that Yahuwshuwa is the actual salvation of YaHuWaH whereas the other men who bore this name were a type and foreshadow of the true Messiah.
YeremiYAHUW (Jeremiah) 23:5“See, the days are coming,” declares YaHuWaH, “when I shall raise for Dawid a Branch of righteousness, and a Sovereign shall reign and act wisely, and shall do right-ruling and righteousness in the earth.6“In His days Yahudah shall be saved, and Yisra’el dwell safely. And this is His Name whereby He shall be called: ‘YaHuWaH our Righteousness.’
This text clearly points to Ha’Mashyach (The Anointed/Messiah). However as you will note in the first coming of Messiah, Yisrael did not dwell safely but rather was under Roman occupation. This is obviously referring to the return of Messiah when he rules and reigns on the earth! According to the text the Messiah will be called “YaHuWaH Tsidqenu” or “YaHuWaH our Righteousness.” The Father has bestowed his excellent Name upon the Son Yahuwshuwa. This is very common in all civilizations, oftentimes a son inherits the name of the father.
Ibrim(Hebrews) 1:4 having become so much better than the messengers, as He has inherited a more excellent Name than them.
It should be noted that a verbal profession of the name of Messiah Yahuwshuwa is scripturally required, so this subject is not to downplay the relevance of his name. In actuality this revelation enhances the truth of the Messiah of Israel, that he has been highly exalted by the Father YaHuWaH.
